About Ilyas
As a University student who has received previous mentoring, I personally enjoyed the feeling of comprehending something on a deeper level especially on something I am passionate about. With that said my goal as a tutor is to give students the tools to be able to understand what they want to learn so that they can enjoy applying that knowledge and see education as something to look forward to, rather than a chore that is done and forgotten.

My goal for when I teach is to enable the student's potential to critically think. My typical plan will be to teach the source material and the concepts of the subject before looking to test the knowledge with active recalling and applied understanding to develop information retention. The lengths of my lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hr. These lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level psychology students.
