About Elena
I am currently a first year university student at the University of Queensland, studying Bachelor of Advanced Science and a Diploma of Language concurrently. Although my formal tutoring experience is minimal, I have supported two of my peers in improving their language proficiency. This resulted in their grades increasing by approximately 5 rungs.

My teaching methods centralise on the individualised needs of the student. All students are unique, thus, my tutoring sessions will largely be directed by the students themselves. I am happy to help consolidate ideas, support with paragraph structure, recommend alternative language choices and highlight grammatical errors. I understand the difficulty that arises when awkward language choices obscure the purpose of a language piece. I do not wish to enforce my own writing style or opinion onto my students' work bur rather, I aim to refine their preexisting skills.
