I am a Computer Science major at the University of Rochester. I have a couple of years of experience in tutoring. I have taken Discrete Mathematics and Calculus at college and have taught all grades for Math to students before.

I tend to teach using examples mostly. After a brief introduction into the topic, I like to use different examples to practice a little using variation so that all topics are adequately covered. I like to think that only understanding the material is just doing 1/4th of the work. To be able to do well in a class, retention is key and practice has no other alternative when it comes to retaining material.
