About Seren
I am currently studying Conservation of Objects in Museums and Archaeology (BSc) at Cardiff University, so have written many an essay! I have been tutoring English language to GCSE students, from low level grades up to grade 8 and 9, for 6 months and have had an awesome and rewarding time doing so. I took my English literature a level a year early, whilst completing my GCSEs, and I love reading a good book.

I teach every lesson differently depending on what the student's needs are. I like to spend time understanding what they struggle with and what they enjoy, and then together we can build a rough plan of what to cover over the course of our lessons. I will then go away and create lesson plans based on this!
I understand it can be nerve wracking to start having tutoring as well, and I am a keen advocate for learning through praise and encouragement, so there's definitely no judgement or negativity here. We all work and learn in our own ways and at our own paces, so the lessons will be aimed to go at a pace you're comfortable with.
