About Amy
I am a university student of Philology and Languages - English at the National University of Colombia. During my career I did two teaching practices, one at the National University for children in transition (preschool) and the other at the IED Pan-American School for third grade children. I also worked at the university as a Student Assistant, being an English tutor for students of all majors. Finally I have six months experience in private classes.

My teaching method is personalized; that is, I rely on the tastes of children and / or adolescents to teach them the language. I try to merge the four skills (listening, speaking, writing and reading) in activities that are attractive and useful for students, such as watching videos of their interest, listening to music, reading texts (comics, news, stories, articles and others) and writing the same type of text. This type of course can be customized, depending on the age and level of English of the student, changing and adapting the resources used. For young children I also use the Total Physical Response technique, with which vocabulary and simple phrases are learned with the help of movements of our body.
