About Alex
I am currently a law student who remembers well the challenges of school and the frustration of struggling with certain subjects. Over time, I discovered how powerful it is to find the right way of learning. I want to tutor because I believe every student deserves that feeling of success and accomplishment. I take a structured yet flexible approach to tutoring. Each lesson begins with a short warm-up to check prior knowledge, followed by a clear explanation of the topic in small, manageable chunks. I use interactive activities such as quizzes, matching tasks, and scenario-based questions to keep learning engaging. Students then apply what they’ve learned through short practice tasks, and we finish with a quick review and recap to reinforce key ideas. I also place a strong focus on revision: breaking topics into small steps, revisiting concepts through short quizzes or flashcards, and tracking progress to highlight strengths and areas for improvement. This ensures that students not only understand new material but also retain it long-term.

Alex is always been a bubbly and friendly girl, so sweet and always trying to excel. She has asked for my advice as a teacher on best ways to make lesson plans, and if I do not say so myself as a teacher for 20+ years, she has a natural ability in pre-empting needs. She will truly be looking after you whilst teaching you from her own experience of being a student. Her results always fantastic, she knows how to do it!
