About Wendy
As a college student, I understand the need for extra help for better results and I understand the lack of confidence to ask the teacher for explanations during or even after class. It is due to these two examples, among others, that I strive to create a safe environment where the student feels comfortable to express themselves freely and express their doubts without fear. Age aside, I will never place myself in a superior position just because I am the explainer, we are equals and if it's up to me, there will always be mutual respect between us.

As an explainer, I value the apprehension of the concepts of the subjects I teach more than the simple act of memorizing information without ever really understanding the basics. When it comes to English, I value text comprehension, speaking/pronunciation and writing comprehension more highly. And with regard to the discipline of Biology and Geology, deep understanding of the concepts of the subject is valued, followed by learning the correct scientific language.
