About Elen
Hi, I'm Elen, a university student with a strong academic background, having excelled throughout secondary school and college. I’ve gained valuable experience tutoring in subjects like English, Spanish, and Classics, and I really enjoy helping others learn and grow in confidence. I'm now looking for tutoring opportunities alongside my studies, where I can support students in reaching their goals through clear, patient, and engaging teaching.

Every learner is different and as a tutor I adapt to my student so that I can give them what they need to excel in their subject. I focus on giving young people the skills to pass their GCSE and A level qualifications; whether that be in the form of essay advice, revision techniques or help understanding content. I have experience working with children of all ages, having tutored many people in the subject of English Literature and A-level Classics. As well as teaching experience, my previous jobs as a lifeguard, financial administrator and babysitter have strengthened my patience, communication and flexibility. I’m passionate about helping students reach their potential and would love the opportunity to support more learners on their academic journey.

I needed a 5 in both English literature and English Language to get onto the course I wanted for A Levels. I had just got a 3 in my mocks so needed support.
