About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a second year student at the University of Twente, where I am doing an international study, specialising in Computer Science. My mother tongue is Dutch, but my level of English approximately as high. I learned French and German at secondary school, after which I continued with French at a higher level.
My teaching experience lies in several areas, I have taught a Brazilian the basics of the Dutch language, I have helped my classmates and people at younger ages with homework and learning for tests, and I have been teaching for a few years now ( certified) sailing lessons, which taught me a lot about didactics. I would like to expand this experience, and I am motivated to learn more about teaching.

I always enjoyed learning languages in high school. As I know that learning or improving language skills can be quite challenging for some people, I would like to lend a hand and make sure that everyone has a good language learning experience.
I can teach people the basics of a language, tutor them for homework on languages, or provide a more hands-on experience through conversations. This is possible for all disciplines, such as reading, writing, speaking and listening, and grammar. The way I teach will always depend on what my student wants and what I see is necessary to achieve the predetermined goals.
