About Rochelle
Hi! My name is Rochelle and I am a university student with a real passion for languages, culture, and teaching others. I have always loved learning about different cultures and the way languages connect people and open opportunities.
I am fluent in French as I am half French and have spoken French at home throughout my life. I also achieved my French GCSE qualification and have Spanish at approximately B2 / A Level standard. Being bilingual has shown me first-hand how valuable language learning can be — not only for education and career opportunities, but also for confidence, communication, and understanding different cultures.
I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping people learn languages and become more confident using them. I know that learning a language can sometimes feel difficult or intimidating, especially when lessons move quickly or students don’t feel comfortable making mistakes. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel relaxed, comfortable asking questions, and able to learn at their own pace.
I enjoy making lessons engaging and approachable, focusing not only on improving grades but also helping students actually enjoy using the language in real situations. Whether you’re preparing for GCSE exams, starting from scratch, or working towards an intermediate level, my aim is to help you make progress and enjoy the process along the way.
I believe language learning should feel achievable, rewarding, and enjoyable — and I love helping students reach goals they feel proud of.
