About Rose
My name is Rose, I am nineteen years old and I study history at Laval University. I have been tutoring for one year and I love it more and more every day. When I was in Cégep, I followed two courses to become a professional tutor in English and in French. I have helped many students of all levels and from all backgrounds, so I am ready and motivated to help anyone. I am very professional and I always make sure to give as much information as I can to my students and their parents or teachers, in order to help them in their learning.

I adapt my teaching to the individual needs of each of my students. In my lessons, I always try to include activities that I know will motivate a student. I normally start my tutoring sessions with a warm-up activity, which can be a fun game or a simple conversation. Then, I introduce the subject and we start the lesson. I usually prepare a few activities or I ask my student what they would like to do. At the end, I always take a few minutes to give constructive feedback and to talk about what will be done next time. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am highly empathetic and understanding. I see the best in every person I help and I do everything that I can to make them progress.

Deadly! My lesson with Rose was just what I was looking for. She was very professional and prepared. She arrived with some wonderful conversational question/answer exercises mapped out that I could take home to use for further practice and review at home. It was such a comfort to feel her support and encouragement for my goal to speak French more fluently as an adult. I was a little nervous I would get stuck but she was a great coach and she was able to help me try speaking more and more throughout the lesson. I booked my second lesson right away! I am American visiting Quebec City for a summer vacation. I am happy to have found Rose to help with my French practice.
