About Lucy

Hi, I’m Lucy, I’m currently studying Politics and International Studies at university, having just finished my first year, and sat my A-Levels in Politics, Maths, Latin and Classical Greek (achieving 4 A*s). I’m looking to share my knowledge and love of those subjects with other students through tutoring. I have a DBS check, and would like to support A-Level Politics students, both in terms of aiding their understanding of the subject but also in building their confidence in the topics covered by the A-Level. I hope that I can provide an enjoyable and friendly learning experience!

About the lesson

Lessons are usually 45 minutes - 1 hour, and are very student-driven, tailored around exactly what the student wants to focus most on, be it essay technique, revision strategies or content-based learning for the A-Level course. For my A-Levels I sat the Edexcel Politics course, doing Global Politics, and as such I am most familiar with the content of this course, although I can definitely adapt my knowledge for other Politics boards. I have experience tutoring students at my school, and find that the fact that I am still a student means that I can understand both content and technique from the perspective of someone learning it, which means that I can make lessons feel more enjoyable and fulfilling.
