"I have a strong love for educating young people and fostering their academic and self-confidence. I believe that my passion for learning makes me an excellent instructor since I constantly push myself to learn something new and am able to impart that love of learning onto the students. Every session is unique because I customize it to the child. My extracurricular education has been extremely beneficial in helping me especially personalize my tutoring when working with SEND youngsters. One instance of this is with a member who suffers from selective mutism. I had heard of the condition before, but I had no idea what it was or why people battled with it, so I went home and did some research. I visited several websites (e.g., LinkedIn Learning) that taught me numerous tactics to use in my tutoring sessions.
