About Safiyyah
Hi - I’m Safiyyah, and I’m super excited to be tutoring English :) I’ve been passionate about reading and writing since I was a kid, so much so that I’m now an English major! I maintained A’s in English classes throughout school, and scored almost perfectly on my SAT English section, making me the perfect candidate to help you or your child out with any reading, writing, or SAT prep needs. My lessons are dictated by my students needs - whether you just need someone to bounce essay ideas off of, or need in depth help with exam preparation, I’ll be there to help in whatever way I can. A typical lesson plan will involve a breakdown of objectives, tackling them in order of importance to make sure that we stay on track and help you meet all of your goals. We’ll break down problems and arguments into simpler pieces, working from the ground up and giving you the blocks to build well written pieces and interpret readings in the future!
