About Shannon
Nice to meet you! I am a second-year University of Wollongong student, studying Arts with a major in environmental humanities and a minor in art history. I am enrolled in a diverse range of subjects relevant to politics, history, journalism, art theory, and socio-cultural studies. I have tutored high school students in varying subjects for the last three years, and thrive on witnessing their growing passions and excellence in their studies.

My tutoring style focuses on tutor-student cooperative learning and inquiry-based discussion, further solidifying the student's confidence in their skills and knowledge in varying subjects, further improving students' results within the subject.
My main approach is to systematically go through the curriculum week by week to keep things clear and easy while setting learning goals for the student to follow.
I apply visualization methods, bringing academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experiences, aiding the students to understand how their schooling applies in tertiary education and the real world.
