About Susruta

I am currently pursuing a BA Honors degree in Psychology, driven by a deep interest in understanding the complexities of human behavior and mental well-being. In addition to my academic work, I’ve completed online bridge courses in counseling, which have honed my therapeutic skills in active listening, empathy, and client communication. I've also gained hands-on experience by assisting a psychologist on clinical cases, providing me with practical insight into mental health care. Currently, I am pursuing a diploma in Clinical Psychology as a head start toward my ultimate goal of obtaining a master's degree in the field. This diploma is allowing me to deepen my understanding of psychological assessment and intervention. With nearly five years of teaching experience, I’ve developed a passion for breaking down complex topics and supporting others in their learning. My journey is far from over, as I look forward to expanding my expertise in clinical psychology through future advanced studies.

About the lesson

This psychology class offers a comprehensive exploration of core topics following the basic Psychology syllabus. Students will delve into key areas such as cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, and research methods. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical examples, this class aims to deepen students’ understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and psychological disorders. Emphasis will also be placed on building critical thinking skills and applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, preparing students for advanced studies and professional careers in psychology.
