About Harriet
Hi, my name is Harriet. I am a multi-talented Canadian freelance designer. I am Professional, focused, collaborative, goal-oriented, and imaginative. I am pursuing a career in graphic design, branding, and art direction.
In 2023, I graduated with honours from George Brown School of Design with an advanced diploma in Graphic Design and Advertising. I am a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers and have worked professionally in the graphic design industry for over five years, with corporate experience in global design.

Over the last six years, I have developed deep expertise in the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Acrobat, and more. I graduated with honours from the Graphic Design and Interaction Design programs at George Brown School of Design. With over five years of professional experience in graphic and web design, I offer hands-on guidance to help you master industry-standard tools and techniques.
My teaching methodology is hands-on. I encourage my students to read over my lesson plan first. In a typical lesson, we will begin by discussing the skill(s) that we will cover, looking at examples of how it is used, and then completing one demo together. After that, I will assign a second task as homework that uses this skill but with more creative freedom to make it your own, and we will review it in our following lesson.
My lessons are tailored to students relatively new to Adobe Suite and Graphic/Web Design. Ideally, you have 0-3 years of experience.
