I lived 14 years in Colombia and 1 and a half in Mexico. On the other handI have teaching experience because of the art and guitar classes I have given in the past. Hello, my name is Sebastian Roa, and I am thrilled to share my passion for the Spanish language with you. As an undergraduate student at Queen's University, I have been immersed in various academic pursuits while also pursuing my love for teaching. Having taught art and guitar classes, I have gained valuable experience that has equipped me to teach and tutor Spanish, my native language, with confidence.
Although I hail from Toronto, my formative years were spent in Colombia, where I absorbed the rich culture and developed an authentic understanding of the Spanish language. This unique background enables me to bring a diverse perspective to my teaching approach.
One aspect that sets me apart as a Spanish teacher is my sociable nature. I believe that fostering a comfortable and engaging environment is crucial for effective language learning. I am convinced that conversation lies at the heart of language acquisition.
