About Liliana

About Me I’m a dedicated and passionate educator specialising in Spanish and ESL instruction for children. With a Bachelor’s degree in Children and Social Moral Development, I’ve gained both the theoretical foundation and practical expertise to support young learners in their educational journey. My training includes a broad education in pedagogy, and I hold both a 120-hour TESOL Certificate and a 150-hour TEFL Certificate. Additionally, I’m a certified nursery nurse with an NVQ Level 3 in Early Learning. Professional Experience My career began with the National Health Service in the UK, where I worked as a Family Health Adviser. This role allowed me to support both primary and secondary school students through one-on-one and group sessions, deepening my understanding of child development and family dynamics. Teaching Journey Since 2010, I’ve been teaching Spanish and English in both classroom and online settings. I’ve delivered over 5,000 online lessons to learners aged 3 to 18, working with renowned global platforms. My approach is rooted in creating meaningful, conversational lessons that empower students to express themselves and explore their interests. Language & Culture As a native bilingual speaker of English and Spanish, I bring authentic language immersion into every lesson. I grew up speaking both languages simultaneously and regularly travel to Spanish-speaking countries to enrich my teaching practice. I also offer Bilingual Circle Time—a fun and engaging introduction to Spanish for young learners.

About the lesson

Teaching Style My lessons are dynamic and interactive, incorporating props, flashcards, and visual aids to support comprehension. I use Total Physical Response (TPR) to reinforce instructions and make learning memorable. Error correction is tailored to each student’s level, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages risk-taking and growth. Mistakes are celebrated as part of the learning process, and I always strive to make students feel confident and excited to participate.
