About Taylor

I hold multiple degrees from the University of Windsor like Bachelor of Arts with honours in criminology, bachelor of arts in political science, certificate in law and politics. As well as a master's in political science where I focused my research on health and social, criminal justice, and defence, security and privacy laws and policies of Canada and the United States.
I had the experience where I was selected and invited to acts as a student ambassador to speak with officials at the North Atlantic Treaties Organization (NATO), European Union political institutions, various embassies on current issues like defence and security, trade agreements between countries, and gender and equality.

I am a former graduate assistant from the University of Windsor Political Science department where I assisted students in courses dealing with international relations, constitutional law, and legal process courses. In addition, served as a policy and issues analyst for the Government of Yukon Deputy Minister's office in the department of health and social services. In this role I advised territorial/provincial, and federal minister's of Canada on social and health issues at the regional and national levels. I acted as the lead person and expert in the department on the Aging in Place Report where I secured funding by the federal government for senior and elder programming.

I currently act as a health policy reviewer and expert on behalf of Canada and the United States for the Journal of Gerontological of Social Work. I also hold memberships with the American Public Health Association, the Ontario Association of Public Health, and the Association for Gerontology Education in Social Work.
