About Jalen
My singing teaching approach emphasizes rhythm as a foundation for confident, expressive, and dynamic performance. I’m a piano tutor with 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I love making piano learning accessible, playful, and meaningful for students of all ages. My lessons are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence while keeping music fun.
I have experience working with neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD and other learning differences. I understand that each student learns differently, and I tailor lessons to fit individual needs. Movement, visual aids, and interactive apps are key tools I use to make lessons engaging and effective.
