About Kai
Students are expected to complete assignments and practice.
The first lesson will function as an introduction, to identify the student's interests, abilities, and goals.
Once this is laid out, progress will be monitored to ensure students are receiving the learning experience they want out of these lessons!

Music is a balance of discipline and creativity. I give my students regimented practice routines with exercises to expand musical knowledge with creative compositional/improvisational drills.
At the end of the day, music is art.
I make my students write on manuscript to get ideas out into the real world.
Students will have a strong grasp of rhythm, harmony, and notation, and will be pushed to apply these concepts to their individual creativity.
Students of all levels and ages are welcome!
