About Edward
I am a BA (History & English) graduate who has been tutoring since 2011 in academic expression, ESL, literature, philosophy, history, and classics. I have also edited academic and creative work ranging from undergraduate essays to graduate dissertations to storybooks.

My teaching method is interactive; it is informed by students' requests and demonstrated needs. I like to discuss my students' concerns and current workload, then spend the hour prompting improvements in their comprehension of tasks and expression in completing them.
When reviewing written work for submission, I will comprehensively annotate a student's draft with corrections and suggestions, preferably while the student is present, to teach better practices.
