About Ella

While I may be a student, I have proficient English skills and enjoy teaching others, and I consistently scored very well in VCE English.

I have always enjoyed English and have been an avid reader from a young age.

I hope to teach students how to "work smarter, not harder", and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

Teaching all necessary subjects for VCE English including:
- Text analysis
- Creative writing
- Analysing argument and persuasive language (AAPL)
- Presenting argument (oral presentations)
- Reading and Comparing texts

I also offer spelling, grammar, vocabulary and writing lessons as well as SAC/Exam preparation.

Offering one-on-one online tutoring ranging from 1-3 hours, from 5pm onwards, with a flexible schedule. I am able to tutor through Zoom, Teams, Discord, Skype or Hangouts.

I am a patient and collaborative tutor who aims to teach students how to reach their goals by following their own learning techniques and creating original ideas. I will also be able to help prepare students for English SACs and exams.

I hope to be able to suit the needs of any student, and I am able to provide practice materials and feedback on any work.

My lessons will be best for VCE students but I am happy to tutor secondary school students from Years 7-10.

I tutored Mary's granddaughter Grace, and they have both made tutoring an amazing learning experience. Mary is incredibly kind, patient and understanding and we were able to work together to create a flexible schedule. I absolutely enjoyed working with Grace, she is friendly and resilient, and made the sessions fun and interesting.
