About Emil

I am an ESL tutor with 17+ years of experience teaching high school and college students, dedicated to helping learners achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success in English. My teaching philosophy is centred on personalised learning, tailoring each lesson to the student’s unique needs, goals, and learning style.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking instruction with practical exercises and real-life examples to ensure students can use English effectively in both academic and everyday contexts.

About the lesson

I teach ESL with a focus on C³P—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is fostered through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and project-based learning, inspiring students to explore language and express themselves confidently.

Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that improve fluency, comprehension, and practical communication skills. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to individual needs, offering guidance, support, and feedback to foster motivation and confidence.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, real-world applications, and analytical tasks that enable learners to apply English skills effectively. I also teach complementary subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment to provide a comprehensive academic experience.

This methodology cultivates learners who are creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English successfully in diverse contexts.
