About Romy
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience helping high school students, college students, and adults learn guitar in a clear and structured way. During this time, I have successfully taught around 300 students, guiding many beginners from their first chord to confidently playing songs.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and step-by-step learning. I believe that anyone can learn guitar when the lessons are simple and enjoyable.
In my classes, I focus on building a strong foundation through basic chords, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, and finger techniques. Once students are comfortable with the basics, I help them learn songs they enjoy so that practice stays interesting and motivating. I always adjust my lessons according to each student's pace and learning style to make sure they understand every step.
Many of my students have improved their confidence and have even performed in school and college events. My goal as a tutor is not only to teach guitar but also to help students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology for Guitar focuses on combining technical skills with musical understanding. Through clear communication and flexible teaching methods, I guide students according to their learning style and musical interests. Students learn important Guitar techniques such as chord transitions, strumming styles, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger coordination.
These basics help them develop control and accuracy while playing the instrument. I explain each concept step by step and encourage students to practise regularly. To make lessons more engaging, I use real-life musical examples and songs to demonstrate how Guitar techniques are used in real performances.
Along with Guitar lessons, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting skills. These topics help students become more complete musicians. My aim is to help students improve their Guitar skills while building creativity and confidence.
