About Charl
I have a Diploma in Education (Senior Primary).I’ve taught English and Afrikaans at Grade 6 and 7 level for four years. For the past 20 years I’ve worked in the corporate world as a Trainer(skills developer), Senior HR Manager and Executive Coach. I’ve designed and presented numerous corporate courses and presentations.
I focus on helping non English speaking students/ employees in improving their English language skills, specifically Business English, or to excel in an important presentation or even or to prepare for a job interview.
Most of my classes are online, but I am available for one on one sessions in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town.

I have 20 years experience of adult learning principles, and educational theories and outcomes-based learning.
I prefer the task-based teaching method which is a practical approach by using everyday topics and tasks that the student / employee can relate to. Learning takes place in a creative, fun way for the student/ employee to improve their vocabulary, pronunciation and gain confidence in speaking English.
Depending on the student/ employee needs and goals, I also use other additional teaching methods to improve YOUR English language skills.

Transportation Fee : R80 per lesson – within a 25 km radius from Central Brackenfell (Brackenfell High School)
Cancellation of a class up to 8 hrs before the session may be re-scheduled.
Cancellation 8 hrs or less prior to the session will unfortunately be forfeited.
