About Niva

With over 5 years of experience teaching French to college students, I provide lessons that are balanced, engaging, and practical, focusing on both academic success and real-life communication.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and organised. I explain grammar clearly, teach vocabulary with practical examples, and design lessons to meet the student’s level, pace, and goals.

I use innovative methods such as interactive exercises, guided conversations, role-plays, scenario-based learning, and listening practice. These techniques help students improve fluency, comprehension, pronunciation, and confidence.

I encourage active participation and create a safe space for students to practice and learn from mistakes. Regular feedback and encouragement ensure steady progress.

My aim is to help college students achieve fluency, confidence, and strong French language skills.

About the lesson

I teach French with a growth-focused, mentorship-centred methodology emphasising creativity, critical thinking, and accountability. Lessons are interactive, practical, and engaging, incorporating storytelling, role-plays, dialogues, and real-life scenarios to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.

As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to think independently, solve problems creatively, and express themselves confidently in both written and spoken French. This approach strengthens academic skills as well as personal growth.
