About Molly
I am a current Alaskan resident. My husband and I love adventure and that fun spirit comes through in my teaching. I earned a Bachelor in Teaching with and emphasis in Early Childhood in 2007. I taught K/1 for 8 years, 2/3 for 8 years and this current school year I am the Social Emotional Learning teacher at my current elementary school. I often serve as teacher in charge when my principal is out of the building. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in elementary leadership. I also am certified to teach children's yoga.

I have taught or been involved in education and teaching young children for over 25 years. I believe all children have 100% potential and you just have to find the right method that works for them. As I stated in my ad I go at teaching with positive behavior support and believe you have to build a relationship with kids to get their maximum buy in in their education. I can teach any level of reading with an emphasis on phonics, comprehension, fluency, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary. I can teach science, math, social studies, ELL, and language. I also have a certificate in Social Emotional Learning. I can tutor or develop lessons based on the needs or interests of my learners. Or come up with thematic lessons that include multiple subjects.
