About Tejaswi
With 19 years of learning and a Vidvat degree in Bharatanatyam, I bring both depth and discipline to my teaching. Over the past 6+ years, I’ve trained students of all age groups—guiding them with patience, clarity, and dedication. My experience includes solo performances at many prestigious cultural stages, some of which include Nadaneerajanam, Mantralayam Guruvaibhotsavam, Kanipakam, Dwaraka Tirumala, and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). In 2018, I was awarded with the title "Naadam Nrityaprabha" in Nrityakalakeli Dubai International dance festival. Students often appreciate my ability to explain the deeper meaning behind each movement and expression, making the learning process more enriching and connected. I take great care to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, whether they are dancing for passion, personal growth, or stage performance. I focus not just on steps, but on helping each student truly embody the spirit of Bharatanatyam. This is followed by a blend of theoretical concepts (such as shlokas and the use of hastas in dance) and practical lessons 3. Focuses on Adavus (basic steps) for strong technique 4. Includes short items or choreography segments in every session 5. Explains the meaning behind each expression and movement 6. Teaches both Abhinaya and Nritta with equal emphasis 7.
