Deadly! Karla brings so much enthusiasm for music and for her instruments that it is infectious! My son had a really good time and she helped him work through a problem he'd been having. We were all really happy and looking forward to the next lesson!

Deadly! Karla gets super excited when I make any progress, which is very encouraging. She also has a lot of experience to share about technique: she is not hide-bound to any books but instead gives me what I need, from her musical wisdom. We use pieces of several books, but mostly I learn to PLAY the violin.

Deadly! Karla has been so wonderful and the perfect violin tutor for me! I prefer teachers who are encouraging, kind, and are more gentle with meeting me at my level and this is her. I love the homework she assigns and she gets me so excited to become a great violin player! Highly recommend her.

Deadly! An AMAZING instructor. No exaggeration, I cannot speak highly enough about her. Incredibly talented, passionate, and so patient if you’re not getting or forget something. She makes it exciting to go to lessons. She understands music in a way I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, and will LITERALLY cheer you on every step of the way. She gets so excited to share her talent and see you progress, and her genuine joy to even your small improvements makes you so proud of yourself. Her creative energy is absolutely contagious, a true artist who lives and breathes music, and makes you want to do the same. After experiencing her I don’t think I would ever be satisfied with anyone else. I used to hate lessons when I was younger, I found them incredibly boring and I never wanted to go. She makes it so fun, while still being insanely knowledgeable and helping you progress fast. Thank you for everything Karla!
