We perform 4 concerts per season in various locations, including the Conrad. We rehearse Saturdays at the Musicians Association on Morena Blvd. Students have the opportunity to solo with the orchestra, and also study chamber music with performance of quartets, quintets, and trios by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Dvorak, Smetana, Brahms. 30, or 50 minute weekly lessons provided at my home studio in Bay Park San Diego.
. A typical lesson offers: warm ups, left hand help thru
studies that focus on vibrato, positions, shifting, and right hand studies for speed, different bowings, spiccato, colle, staccato. How to produce a beautiful sound, phrase and play musically.
Give me a try. I have a B.A. and a M.A. all classes for a Ph.d in Music. Have been on the music faculty at SDSU...played in the S.D. Symphony , (both violin and viola) My quartet performed for Young Audiences, and my ERA trio performed in Carnegie Recital Hall. I conduct All About Music San Diego Youth Orchestra and in the past, Youth Symphony and Young Artists Orchestra. I have a lifetime of experience and I can teach you how to play.
