About Jenna
My passion for violin began through orchestral listening experiences and fascination with string expression in classical music. This inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Violin Performance. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students develop confidence, discipline, and musical clarity.
I believe music education should feel structured yet encouraging. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step instruction, clear demonstration, and consistent practice habits. I encourage students to stay curious and ask questions because understanding grows through active engagement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, orchestral collaboration, and studying classical compositions. Staying connected to performance helps me bring real musical insight into lessons. Teaching violin is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students grow into expressive musicians. My goal is to support every learner in building confidence and artistry.

My violin lessons focus on helping students build strong technical foundations while developing expressive musical control through structured and supportive practice. I teach posture alignment, bow hold, intonation training, shifting techniques, rhythm accuracy, sight reading, and tone development in a calm environment. Students learn how consistent practice improves both precision and emotional expression over time. Every lesson is designed to feel steady, clear, and encouraging.
Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on open string exercises, basic fingering patterns, rhythm control, and simple melodies, while advanced learners work on vibrato, advanced bowing styles, position shifts, and performance preparation. I include slow practice methods, ear training, and repetition drills because focused repetition strengthens muscle memory effectively. Students receive gentle correction that supports improvement without stress or pressure.
I aim to create a safe learning space where students feel relaxed while exploring musical expression. Many learners struggle with tension or hesitation, so I focus on gradual improvement through patience and clear guidance. Over time, students develop better tone, stronger control, and expressive confidence. Violin becomes more rewarding when learners trust their sound.
