About Emma
I am a violin tutor with 5 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance. My background includes mentoring advanced students who are preparing for auditions, solo performances, and higher-level music studies. Teaching has allowed me to share both technical knowledge and artistic understanding.
I guide students through advanced bowing techniques, interpretation skills, concert preparation, and performance planning. Lessons focus on building strong musical foundations while developing confidence on stage. I also help students improve focus and preparation habits before important performances.
I believe successful musicians need both technical ability and artistic expression. Helping students discover their strengths and perform with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I am committed to supporting each learner's musical goals with patience and dedication.

My violin lessons emphasize calm practice methods and steady development for learners with busy schedules or performance concerns. I use visualization exercises, silent bowing techniques, mental fingering practice, and focused preparation strategies to support efficient learning. Lessons encourage both musical and personal growth.
Students work on tone quality, performance memory, posture awareness, bow control, and tension management through structured exercises. I also teach methods that allow productive practice even when a violin is not available. This helps learners maintain consistency and confidence.
I enjoy helping students become more independent and comfortable in their musical journey. Lessons are supportive, practical, and designed to reduce unnecessary pressure. My goal is to help every learner progress with confidence and enjoyment.
