About Daria
My appellation is Daria, a 21-years-old violist based in Manchester. My musical journey started in Ukraine at the Irpin Music School, followed by a scholarship at Glier's Academy of Music in Kyiv. Subsequently, having undergone auditions and interviews, I was awarded a place at the one of the best Conservatoires in the world called RNCM in the United Kingdom. During my studies in Ukraine I’ve participated in a lot of concerts, played as a principal viola in both chamber and symphony orchestras of the Academy. Played in number of quartets and in piano trio. For year and a half I’ve lived in Ljubljana, Slovenia where I’ve played in Slovenian Youth Orchestra, Ljubljana International Orchestra, symphony orchestra of Ljubljana Music Academy and in other orchestras of Slovenia. Also participated in Mediterranean Youth Orchestra in France. My educational journey has been enriched by learning from the finest instructors in Ukraine, Slovenia and the United Kingdom. I have actively participated in a myriad of masterclasses, concerts, and competitions, contributing to my continuous growth and development in the realm of music.

Tailoring instruction to suit the unique needs of each student, extensive experience in major solo, orchestral and ensemble performances, a flexible schedule, and a versatile approach to the educational process are integral aspects of my teaching ethos. I possess the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of all ages and varying levels of instrument proficiency. Very open and kind person. Fluency in two languages—Ukrainian, and English—enables me to provide a culturally enriched and linguistically diverse educational experience. Additionally, my pedagogical approach includes the assimilation of foreign techniques for instrument mastery, contributing to a well-rounded and globally informed education. Acknowledging the significance of the psychological dimension in musical development, I incorporate psychological work with students to ensure a holistic approach to their growth. Furthermore, I diligently compile a concise written report after each lesson, delineating the specific topics covered and assigning pertinent homework to consolidate acquired skills. This meticulous feedback mechanism serves to monitor progress and guide further practice, fostering a structured and effective learning journey for each student.
