Due to my background of student interning a 1st grade classroom, tutoring an afghan refugee in English language skills, working in a preschool for a year, working in a SLP office as a student intern, and assisting a Montessori program as a nature guide, I have seen a lot of different teaching methods in various environments and have been lucky enough to acquire a vast array of skills that contribute to my way of teaching being a fun and engaging experience. My lessons are carefully orchestrated in a way that makes learning enjoyable, but also allows for students to push themselves and be proud of the work they have put in. Because I am a visual learner and have found that to be the best method of communication between my students and myself, I intend to implement as many visual references as possible to make my lessons animated and transparent.
