About Liam
I am an experienced Piano instructor with 12 years of teaching experience. I teach students of all levels, including school children, college students, and working professionals who wish to learn Piano for personal growth, academic purposes, or performance opportunities.
My teaching style combines structure, creativity, and flexibility. Every student has unique strengths and learning preferences, so I design lessons that match their individual needs and goals. I focus on helping students build confidence while developing strong musical skills.
Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, finger techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, music theory, ear training, and performance skills. I believe that understanding the theory behind music helps students become more independent and capable musicians.
Besides Piano, I also teach keyboard skills, music reading, and foundational music theory. I encourage students to develop discipline, creativity, and self-expression through music.
My lessons are supportive, practical, and engaging. I celebrate each student's progress and help them overcome challenges with patience and clear guidance. My goal is to help students enjoy music while building skills that will benefit them for years to come.

My teaching methodology emphasises personalised, inspiring, and adaptive learning. I believe piano education should be enjoyable, motivating, and tailored to each student’s goals and abilities. Through open communication, I learn about each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style, which allows me to design lessons that are meaningful, engaging, and highly effective.
Creativity is central to my teaching. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical styles, helping them develop artistic confidence and a unique musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering a productive and enjoyable environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
