About Joseph
I am passionate about the graphic design industry. I have been involved in the industry for 25 years. I have been running my own practice in Melbourne since 2000. I am also an academic lecturer teaching in the Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) at RMIT University which I have been doing for over 19 years. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience in the real world and sharing that with my students.

My passion revolves around is ideas – exploration, implementation and visual communication. I am a strong advocate of a thorough design process being applied to all design projects, large or small. I am a practicing graphic designer, running my own design studio since 2000. I am an academic lecturer, teaching in the Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) at RMIT University. My areas of expertise include: • typography • logo design • branding • elements and principles of design • stock (paper) • printing processes (digital and offset) • publication design • the creative design process • how to write a return brief • Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge (particularly Illustrator and InDesign) I enjoy being a mentor to students and bringing my knowledge, personal insight and experience learned from running a design business into the classroom.
