About Karine

Bonjour Je m’appelle Karine and I am a French native speaker. I have a master's degree in English and Spanish from the University of Bordeaux, France. I lived in the US for a year before heading to Northern Ireland where I taught French in two secondary schools for a year. I then became cabin crew and in the last 20 years, I have always taught French either at home (evening classes all levels) or in the local grammar school to help with oral and written French, once again at all levels. I have also taught one-to-one classes to French businessmen who needed to perfect their English for job purposes. This is only an example to emphasise diverse experiences in teaching. I hope we can meet soon and start classes together! À bientôt!

About the lesson

I think learning a language has to be fun so games should be a great way to learn, lots of conversation to develop your confidence and skills, tackle grammar regularly, check French news, music, lifestyle to improve your level whatever it is. So, when are we starting?

Karine's response
The student was a great young girl keen to learn and very curious about both French language and culture> it was a pleasure to meet up with her for a few weeks, wishing her all the best in her exams this year and no doubt, she will excell in French !

I worked alongside Karine, teaching French - I can honestly say that her enthusiasm and vivacious personality really encouraged her pupils to want to learn, and she always went the extra mile for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending her!
