About Emi

Vocal coach, singer and musical theater actor with more than 20 years of experience on stage. Holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Therapy. Two-time Hugo Award winner for best male performer in Argentina (the most important musical theater award in the country) Co-founder of the Full Vocal Range (FVR) method based on the Old Italian Singing Technique from the late 18th century. Gives online voice lessons to students around the world by offering a different approach to singing.

About the lesson

Enjoy the art of singing while you learn how to sing in a healthy way. In 30-minute lessons acquire the key tools to improve your singing skills and get to the next level. The method, Full Vocal Range (FVR), is based on the Old Italian Singing Technique from the late 18th century: the Belcanto era. Belcanto has guarded the technical secrets which allow for a way to emit that is free from ties. From this tradition we have laid the foundations of this method. The technique's features are: - Height: a specific emission position is trained in order to make full use of cranial voice resonance. - Clarity: a natural and authentic voice production is sought after, through a controlled and clear emission. - Lightness: effortless emission, no body attachments, smooth and high-positioned attack. Furthermore, these fundamentals are accompanied with learning how to employ stylistic resources such as ornaments, messa di voce, staccato, legatos and a variety of different dynamics.
