About Sam
I help singers stop guessing and start understanding what their voice is actually doing.
I am Sam, a vocal coach, psychology and music graduate from Victoria University, and a working performer on Melbourne's live scene.
I have coached over 70 students aged 9 to 55 across voice, piano and guitar.
I have lived neurodivergent myself, and I spent years in lessons that did not work for my brain.
Vague instructions, no explanations, lots of "just feel it." So I went and studied the science, vocal anatomy, motor learning, performance psychology, and now I teach the way I wish someone had taught me:
clearly, logically, and with zero guesswork.
I also grew up singing Arabic microtones before I ever touched a Western scale, so if you have been told you are "off-pitch" and it never quite made sense to you, I get it. Literally.

Every session is built around what YOUR voice needs, not a one-size-fits-all warm-up sheet.
We work on healthy technique, breath control, resonance, ear training and performance confidence.
Styles include jazz, R&B, funk, pop, rock, and metal.
I adapt everything to how you learn, especially if traditional teaching methods have never clicked for you.
Sessions run 30–45 minutes.
You will leave every lesson knowing exactly what to practise and why.
