About Marina
I am originally from Bulgaria. Volleyball is huge there. Growing up, I had the privilege of being on one of the best teams in the country. My coaches believed that a good player needs to be able to play equally in every position. This helps you understand the game much better and be a more versatile player. At the age of 16 I was recruited for the junior national team and at 17 I was offered a full ride scholarship from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The following year I transferred to St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve been exposed to several different styles of coaching and I believe I managed to take the best from each one and create my own.

Volleyball is my passion and has given me a healthy mind and body, also a lot of friendships. I won’t stay on the side and talk theory. We will learn by doing drills together and I won’t let you cut corners.
