About Anisa
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Anisa, a PGCE-qualified teacher with an LLB Law degree, and teaching is something I genuinely love.
For me, teaching is about much more than simply delivering a lesson or helping a student complete their homework. It’s about building confidence, encouraging curiosity and helping students realise what they are capable of achieving.
I’ve always believed that every student has the ability to succeed sometimes they just need someone to explain things in a way that makes sense to them. That’s where I come in.
As a teacher, I want to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, supported and confident enough to ask questions, even when they don’t understand something the first time.
I understand that every learner is different. Some students need things explained visually, others learn through discussion, examples, repetition or simply having someone patiently guide them through a challenging topic. I adapt my teaching to suit the individual student rather than expecting every student to learn in the same way.
Whether I’m teaching Law or Primary subjects, my goal is always the same: to make learning engaging, accessible and enjoyable, while helping students make real progress.
I don’t just want my students to say, “I got the answer.”
I want them to say, “I understand why.”
That’s what makes teaching so rewarding for me — watching a student go from “I can’t do this” to “I’ve got this.”

What Will Our Lessons Look Like?
I want every lesson to feel personal, purposeful and engaging not like another hour of school. Before we begin, I’ll get to know you as a learner: what you’re confident with, what you find challenging and what you’d like to achieve. From there, I’ll tailor each lesson to suit your individual needs and learning style. During our sessions, we will:
Learn – Break down new or challenging topics into simple, manageable steps. Understand – Go beyond memorising and make sure you genuinely understand why something works.
Ask questions – There are no silly questions. I want you to feel comfortable speaking up whenever something isn’t clear.
Practise – Put your knowledge into practice through questions, activities, exam-style tasks and real examples.
Build confidence – We’ll work on your weaker areas while developing the skills you already have.
Track progress – We’ll regularly look at what you’ve improved and what we should focus on next. Whether you’re preparing for 11+, 13+, school exams, GCSE Law or simply looking for extra support, I’ll make sure our lessons are adapted to where you are and where you want to be. Most importantly, I want you to leave every lesson feeling more confident than when you arrived. No pressure. No judgement. Just supportive teaching designed around you.
