About Nikita
I am currently studying History (BA) at the University of Warwick! I took Maths, History, and Government & Politics at A-Level, with grades of AAB. I also achieved 8A*s and 3As at GCSE, with A*s in Maths, Science, English Language and English Literature, History and more.
For the past 3 years, I have also helped numerous students with their University applications. Students that I have helped now attend: Cambridge, UCL, Loughborough, Nottingham, LSE, and more.
I have a lot of experience with young children! I have organised sporting opportunities for primary school ages to learn new skills. This means I know how to deliver sessions in a way that benefits the student the most. It is super important for me to make sure I’m going above and beyond for my peers, and this can be backed up by the awards I have achieved as a result! I also have a lot of experience working with students with disabilities, and have also worked in hospitality for young children - teaching me to be adaptable!

As I am currently in University, I am more than happy to tutor students in a range of subjects.
For those in high school that have yet to sit their GCSEs, I would be willing to tutor you in English, Maths, and History.
For those that are seeking tutoring for their GCSEs, I would love to tutor the following subjects: English Literature, English Language, Maths, History, Drama, Religious Education.
In regards to students who are taking their A-Levels: As I am studying History at university, and achieved an A at A-Level in the subject, I can definitely offer classes in this subject.
Furthermore, I have helped many students with their university applications - especially with their personal statements. It does not matter how many drafts you have done, or even what you haven’t done yet, do not hesitate to ask for my help on your personal statements!
I require students to get in touch to notify me of their exam boards. In addition to this, please explain what you feel you need help on. Once these have been established, the student and I can discuss a plan that suits them best.
For example: Focusing on the content of a book in one lesson, Essay guidance in another, then a combination. This all depends on the length of time the student agrees on - I would suggest hourly lessons.
Due to travel restrictions, I will be offering tutoring through Zoom or Skype. If you would prefer to not be face to face, I would be happy with scheduling a call for you.
Sending me pieces of work is a great idea! This goes for any practice tests you may have completed, any essays you have written, or even a draft of your personal statement.
Depending on the needs of the student, I may set homework. I am aware that students have to juggle a lot, and will definitely aim to not overwhelm any students! That being said, I believe practice and application makes a massive difference to performance, so please make sure that anything set is actually completed.
I would say that I am an understanding person, who believes that every single individual has incredible potential. If a teaching method, or lesson timing, stops working for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
