About Ophelia

With nearly a decade of experience teaching coding and design, I’ve guided learners from their very first HTML tags to building fully deployed web applications. I love seeing the moment when a student realises they’ve created something that others can see and use — that spark of accomplishment drives my teaching approach. I blend clarity with creativity, ensuring students understand both the technical logic and the artistic expression behind good design. About the lesson

My Web Development lessons combine creativity with technical precision. We begin with core technologies — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — then move into frameworks like React, Node.js, and database management. Every topic is accompanied by hands-on coding exercises that turn theory into real websites. Students work on live projects — from personal portfolios to small business sites — learning about responsive design, interactivity, and optimisation. I guide them through each stage: planning, coding, testing, and deployment. This holistic approach ensures students understand how individual technologies combine to form dynamic systems. I also teach the principles of UI/UX, version control, and debugging strategies, helping learners think like developers who can both solve problems and design for users.
