About Noriko

About Noriko
Born and raised in Japan, currently living in Yokohama.
I spent 4 yrs. in the U.S. between ages of 18 and 22.
During my time abroad, I experienced loneliness, the frustration of not being understood and many mistakes.
At the same time, I also discovered the joy of being understood and the excitement of learning about different cultures.
I myself stayed with a host family when I was a student and my child also had the opportunity to experience a homestay in Canada.
To give back for that kindness, I continue to volunteer as a host family today.

I have work experience at a trading company and English conversation school.
Currently, I am studying French online.
When I watched the film "THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO"
I was deeply moved to recognize and understand several French phrases!

INTERESTS: Kimono, Koji (fermented foods), Japanese cuisine, Tsumami Zaiku, golf, travel, cooking and ONE OK ROCK!!!
