About Jordan

I am from the United States of America and I am a native English speaker. I speak some German and Spanish but I am currently learning Hungarian. My childhood was spent in the UK. I then moved back to the US where I've resided for 22 years, moving around the States.

I teach kids and adults from beginner level to more advanced levels. I enjoy making lessons very fun and engaging, especially for beginners, but adults as well.

Since moving back to the US, I've had 2 kids, a 17 year old and a 4.5 year old, and have traveled all over to many places with them. I am very patient and understanding to the needs of each individual.

About the lesson

"Who said Learning English can't be fun"

I understand everyone learns differently and at their own pace and I look forward to helping you on your journey of mastering the English language!

During an initial conversation, we would determine your level of English fluency and learn about your objectives. I will then create a curriculum and tailor it to your specific needs to help you reach your goals.

My classes are communicative, relaxed, and based on my students' specific needs, goals, and interests. We might touch on some grammar points if needed, but the lessons are not grammar focused. (Of course it can be for exam preparation) My classes center around communicative tasks. I might also use videos, audio files, and interesting articles or texts that will help you improve your vocabulary, listening skills, and use of English.

Deadly! Jordan nagyon jól tanít, beszélgetés közben felméri a nyelvtudást, és annak megfelelően alakítja a tempót és az óra menetét. Közvetlen, barátságos, és szinte bármiről remekül el lehet vele beszélgetni. Csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek!:)
Jordan is an excellent teacher. During conversations he quickly assesses your language level and adjusts the pace and structure of the lesson accordingly. He is direct, easy to talk to, and you can have great discussions with him on any topic. I can only recommend him.:)

Deadly! Eddigi legjobb tanárom. Annyira kedves, vicces, segítőkész. Életemben először élmény a tanulás. Sokkal magabiztosabb vagyok, mióta hozzá járok. Az angoltudásom szinte nulla volt, de mégis mindent megértek amit mond. Semmi stressz, szorongás. Sokkal jobb, mint magyar anyanyelvű tanártól tanulni. Jordan a legjobb.

Deadly! Eddigi legjobb tanárom. Annyira kedves, vicces, segítőkész. Életemben először élmény a tanulás. Sokkal magabiztosabb vagyok, mióta hozzá járok. Az angoltudásom szinte nulla volt, de mégis mindent megértek amit mond. Semmi stressz, szorongás. Sokkal jobb, mint magyar anyanyelvű tanártól tanulni. Jordan a legjobb.

Jordant személyesen is ismerem, és nagyon sokat segített abban hogy ne féljek angolul megszólalni. Tisztán és érthetően beszél, szépen kiejti a szavakat, könnyű megérteni, és nagyon türelmes. Mivel ilyen jól megértem őt, nagyon szívesen beszélgetek vele. Egy idő után azt vettem észre hogy már nem zavar hogy meg kell szólalnom angolul. Jordant már régóta ismerem óriási kézügyessége van szinte mindenhez ért igazi " handiman" ahogy azt mondani szokták :) nagyon jófej fiatalos ambíciózus embernek ismertem meg. Amerikában nagyon sokat segített nekem és feleségemnek. Jordan nagyon jól beszeli a Britt és az Amerikai angolt is. Nagyon sokat tanultam tőle és mind a mai napig tartjuk a kapcsolatot. Jordant már régóta ismerem óriási kézügyessége van szinte mindenhez ért igazi " handiman" ahogy azt mondani szokták :) nagyon jófej fiatalos ambíciózus embernek ismertem meg.
