About Alexa
Teaching 366 students has shown me that even small technical mistakes can hold back strong design ideas. In my experience, clean and organized geometry is one of the most overlooked skills when beginners start creating SketchUp models. I focus on building good habits from the beginning so your files remain accurate, efficient, and easy to develop.
With 4 years of SketchUp experience, including advanced plugin workflows and detailed interior furniture modeling, I can help you use Warehouse components and materials without overwhelming your model. My M.Arch specialization in computational design also allows me to explain section planes, cutaways, and spatial visualization in a practical way, making complex modeling techniques easier to understand.
I keep my teaching approachable by simplifying measurements, dimensions, and technical documentation. You’ll learn how to organize your workflow while developing confidence in your modeling decisions. From the first line of your project to the final LayOut documentation, we’ll focus on accuracy, clarity, and professional presentation so your finished work is both visually strong and technically reliable.

Precision begins with a well-structured component hierarchy and a clean, efficient SketchUp workflow. Across 8 focused sessions, you’ll learn best practices for modelling, organization, materials, and interior detailing. With 4 years of experience in computational design, I’ll help you develop a workflow that keeps complex projects manageable while strengthening both your technical accuracy and design confidence.
By the end of the course, you’ll create polished rendered visuals from your own model, transforming a basic digital space into a detailed, furnished interior. Our hands-on approach ensures that every technique is applied directly to your project, allowing you to build practical skills through real modelling challenges rather than isolated exercises.
Throughout the sessions, you’ll receive immediate, constructive feedback on your progress. We’ll refine your geometry, improve your modelling habits, and strengthen your visual presentation step by step. This practical process helps you develop technical proficiency alongside your design intuition, giving you the confidence to approach future SketchUp projects with greater clarity, speed, and precision.
