Ihotu is an excellent person with deep insights into life issues and society. She writes with such skillfulness that I sometimes wonder if she was from another planet entirely. I first met her while she was an undergraduate student of English at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria where she was also a leader in the students' Christians fellowship - Campus Aflame Fellowship (CAFEL). She is a combination of beauty and brains. I still consider her a mentor to me.
