Hi there! My name is Emily and I am so happy to make your acquaintance. A little about me: I have a dog named Bellamy, my favorite color is green, I have helped students self-publish their stories, and I love to paint! I have worked with students from all backgrounds and ages as a private tutor and as a teacher in a class setting. I even owned my own creative studio where I taught students every day of the week! My passion is teaching and helping others discover their story. I would be honored to help you find yours!

Have an academic essay that needs finessing? A creative short story that could use a second pair of eyes? From thorough evaluations and edits to one-on-one consultation, I will walk with you every step of the way to achieve an elevated and polished final manuscript.
A typical lesson plan begins with an evaluation of the prompt and any material already written (whether it is a a few paragraphs or an entire first draft). After I have made an initial summation of the source material, I will share edits and a roadmap with you to help you elevate your prose, clarify structure or tone, edit grammatical errors, as well as provide technical insights based on the genre of material (academic or creative).
While I have helped all ages achieve literary success, I have predominantly assisted middle, high school and college students.
I can help you edit research papers, persuasive essays, digital content (like blog posts), 5-paragraph essays, creative stories (from short stories to whole novels), and more!
